We are looking for a Delivery Manager that can support a high performance environment and create positive synergy with their colleagues. At Niteco, the Delivery Manager oversees the full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of multiple highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives. The Delivery Manager manages four to eight project teams, reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and takes a leadership role in the following:
Implementation of established policies, system monitors and controls to ensure successful management and reporting of all corporate initiatives in the program.
Supervision and leadership of program and project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies to ensure initiatives meet goals and objectives of SLT while ensuring customer satisfaction at the highest level.
Contribution to continuous process improvements for projects within the program and programs across the project delivery organization.
Interactive with internal customers and consultative value to our business partners.
Provide project management mentorship for team leads and project managers within the program and strategic alignment of projects to business needs.
Establish and implement metrics that measure project performance.
Conduct project status review meetings and tracking of the open points and assigned task’s status.
Work with Project Managers to review, determine the project health by measuring the variance in scope, schedule, cost and quality from the respective baselines.
Conduct periodic project and process audits in conjunction with the company QA team.
Ensure all projects adhere to the company’s base lined Quality Governance process guidelines.
Resource usage tracking and ensure the optimized usage of resources.
Mentor Project Managers with most effective execution of projects and resolve issues escalated by Project Managers.
Facilitate improvements by empowering tools and methods to the Project Conduct & Management Process.
Prepare, analyze and report enterprise wide report to the Chief Operating Officer and customers.
Work with senior management and the HR team for career development of resources in the program.
University degree in IT or management; priority expatriate candidate or trained abroad.
Excellent English skills; high scores in internationally recognized English certifications exams considered an asset (eg. TOEFL, IELTS, BEC, TOEIC).
At least 10 years’ experience in IT projects management in complex environments, multiple partners, and many departments.
At least 3 years in Delivery Manager position in IT Company.
Excellent leadership, project management, communication and soft skills (eg. conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and teamwork) coupled with strong technical background.
Able and willing to work overtime, under high pressure.
Honesty, creativity, reliability and carefulness combined a tenacity to resolve problems.
Candidates with PMP, Prince 2, Lean or equivalent certifications preferred.
Agile, SCRUM, or equivalent certifications considered an asset.
Expatriates with a working knowledge of Vietnam and the desire to work long term in Vietnam are strongly encouraged to apply.
